We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to come on board and join the Farm At Hand team. The new member of the ‘farmily” must have the ability to build RESTful APIs and great documentation, while shipping high quality code in a fast-paced environment. We’d also be most pleased if they contributed to our technical evolution by sharing their knowledge with our Engineering team and community through subject matter expertise and thought leadership. Entrepreneurial thought processes, ambition and drive are also welcome!

Skills & Requirements Experience shipping high quality code in a fast-paced mission-critical environment Demonstrated interest in working with new technologies and thinking outside the box Amazing human and collaborative team member Strong grasp of devops, sysadmin, CS fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns Proficiency in Nodejs, Ruby on Rails and other languages is a plus. Commitment to agile software development methodologies including TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery Good grasp of UX and UI design principles BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Experience with Amazon Web Services **Must be eligible to work in Canada and have a valid work permit
