We’re looking for a talented iOS Developer to work closely with our founder and design director as we take Village from a private MVP to a public beta and beyond.

What we need you to do

— Take over the existing MVP codebase (Objective C) — Implement, test and validate new features as we iterate through early versions of the product — If possible, expand and maintain the Ruby on Rails-based backend — Implement basic agile-development practices — Help us build a top tier mobile team as we grow — Thrive in a fast paced startup environment

What you’ll bring to the role

— Deep and intimate understanding of Objective-C, as evidenced by at least one commercially viable iOS app in the App Store — Eagerness to collaborate with project managers, designers and other engineers in an agile-development environment — Strong appreciation for good design and iOS best practices

Bonuses

— Experience working for another consumer facing startup — Existing iOS project code that you can share during the interview process — Experience with Ruby on Rails, Heroku, Pivotal Tracker and TestFlight

$80,000 — $110,000/year
