We are seeking a Software Architect to provide technical vision and leadership for projects in a dynamic environment. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementations while mentoring team members to drive technical excellence.
This position may occasionally require on-site work at the client’s facilities in Austin, Texas
Key Responsibilities:

    • Define the technical vision and architectural standards, remaining hands-on with coding as needed.
    • Lead architectural decisions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
    • Design and establish standards for APIs and system architecture.
    • Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Lead performance optimization and system monitoring efforts.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation within the organization.
    • Mentor and develop engineers across various specializations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Establish and enforce code review processes to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Implement comprehensive testing strategies and promote best practices in software engineering.
    • Manage dependencies and ensure timely technical delivery.
    • Drive agile practices, ensuring technical considerations are represented in project planning.
    • Lead deployment processes.
    • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
    • Evaluate vendor tools and third-party integrations while considering cost implications.
    • Provide technical leadership and build high-performing teams in an inclusive environment.
    • Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders while maintaining transparency.
Qualification:

    • 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
    • Demonstrate a strong interest and familiarity with AI technologies, as they will be integrated into the project, and proactively seek opportunities to leverage AI for innovative solutions
    • Strong proficiency in software architecture and design principles.
    • Experience with modern development practices and agile methodologies.
    • Experience in designing cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
    • Solid understanding of database design and API development.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.
Nice to Have:

    • Experience in digital transformation initiatives or service-oriented projects.
    • Familiarity with design systems and DevOps practices.
    • Microservices; API Gateway; Event Broker; Next.js; Full Stack; Cloud (AWS/GCP). Technologies to be defined during the discovery phase.
