About Reminiz Reminiz is a French start-up using state-of-the-art face recognition algorithm to identify public figures. This solution enables to propose content directly related to celebrities such as biography or filmography. In addition, Reminiz also pushes paid services like VOD or derivative products according to the recognized celebrity. We help content providers to turn the faces of public figures into a source of recurring revenue while improving the overall TV user experience. Role description The candidate will be responsible for C++ architecture and development of our face recognition software. To do so, he will be accountable for all the components such as face detection and tracking. The candidate will also work on various projects in collaboration with the team and be responsible for their prompt delivery. He must have extensive knowledge of software design and OS (mainly Linux). Duties and responsabilities In this role you will: • Analyze business and technical requirements • Design the software architecture • Validate design and architecture together with clients, team mates and CTO • Develop, test and document software • Spontaneously report and alert management as needed Qualifications Candidates must have: • Experience developing high performances software in C++ and Java • Experience developing computer vision algorithms (face detection/tracking/recognition is a huge advantage) • Experience with SQL is a strong plus • Strong work ethic, excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English • Knowledge in accelerated solutions (GPU, parallelization) The ideal candidate also has • Team management experience in the context of software development projects • High level of technical skills and personal interest in science and technology • A proven track record in project delivery and management • Team and entrepreneurial spirit Job location The job is located in Paris and may include business trips abroad
