We’re looking for a smart, experienced design visionary. As the lead designer you’ll be the creative force behind creating elegant, intuitive interfaces even your dad can use. You’ll be on the forefront of microbe research, changing how people interact with their health. Ideally you’re a creative problem solver who thinks about design (online and off) as a means to and ends for making great products.

At uBiome we’re bringing users into the scientific process, transforming new ideas about health metrics and data. Translate big data into meaningful insights into the human microbiome. Work with a wild eyed teams of physicists, inventor, biologists and engineers who are passionate about guitars, chocolate and cells. Science nerdery a bonus. Let’s change the world.

Responsibilities:

With at least 3+ years experience, you’ll be

• Leading all design efforts including simple and easy to use interfaces from concept to pixel perfection
• Collaborating with engineering, data science, and stakeholders to ensure best possible user experience
• Creating exciting and creative data visualization and dashboards to help users understand their results. (Background in data visualization, medical information, genomics, science, or bacteria a bonus)
