As a Engineer, you’ll be the backbone of our digital operations. Your code will not just run systems, but power dreams. With every function you define, with every API you build, you contribute to our global fintech vision.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code;
- Integration of data storage solutions, possibly including databases, key-value stores, etc.;
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications;
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to design and launch new features;
- Maintain code integrity and organization;
- Understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
- Participate in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to peers.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Comprehensive understanding of Ruby and Ruby on Rails;
- Understanding of Elixir and Phoenix Framework
- Passion for writing clean, readable code;
- Eagerness to learn and take feedback constructively;
- Familiarity with using Git for version control;
- Familiar with CI/CD.
- Passion for AI and familiarity on implementing it on your work.
- Upper-intermediate English (talking, reading and listening).
What will take you halfway there:
- Familiarity with requirements analysis;
- Familiarity with MVC, RESTful, and CRUD;
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
