As a team member, you’ll wrangle large amounts of data to make it useful to both machines and humans. That might involve writing a Hadoop job in Clojure or using Ruby to automate data processing tasks so we can deliver cool new things to our customers. The challenge, if you’re up for it, is to scale our systems to deal with exploding data volumes yet make it easily accessible for researchers for use in machine learning algorithms.

No prior security experience is necessary, just an interest in the field. Damballa specializes in analysis of network traffic, so a familiarity with DNS, HTTP and other forms of network communications technologies is beneficial.
