ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with data feeds from banks, financial institutions and third-party APIs for intake and interpretation of credit card transaction data.

• Developing new features using PHP, OOP and our own MVC-based framework.

• Focusing on assigned tasks by following Kanban methodology in JIRA.

• Participating in code reviews with other developers for knowledge sharing and overall improvement of the IRIS application prior to merging into master.

• Interacting with the IRIS support team to troubleshoot client reported bugs.

• Designing automated tests to ensure our reporting is as consistent and stable as possible.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum completion of a Bachelor’s degree.

• At least 3 years of expertise working with PHP & MySQL, Javascript, CSS, AJAX and jQuery.

• Strong OOP skills & experience working with MVC frameworks.

• Strong experience with Symfony, Smarty, Zend or other MVC-based frameworks.

• Swift familiarization with large code base in existing applications.

• History of excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Possessing strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Thriving in an environment that encourages autonomy and forward thinking.

• Availability for critical escalations outside of work hours, as needed.
