You’ll step into a deeply rewarding career where you’ll:
• Take on multiple roles: Course Editor, Content Writer, Learning Experience Designer, UI/UX Curriculum Developer, and Subject Matter Expert.
• Develop high-demand UI/UX courses and open-source content that empower designers worldwide. You’ll plan and edit course material alongside leading experts like Don Norman, Vitaly Friedman, and Design Leads from Netflix, LinkedIn, Meta, and Adobe. You’ll also travel to meet these experts and film course content in professional studios.
• Produce and refine top-tier educational materials on UI design, UX design, HCI, Design Thinking, Psychology, and more—through articles, courses, templates, portfolio tasks, and additional resources.
• Continuously elevate the quality of our educational content—aiming to surpass even the best in academia and the industry.
• Collaborate with fellow course editors, the video team, social media team, and our founders to create the most inspiring and effective learning experiences.
• Use your advanced editorial skills to help colleagues grow as communicators and educators, just as they will help you grow.
• Optionally apply your design skills to create visuals that reinforce key learning points.
• Support IxDF content writers, community managers, and the social media team with your UI/UX expertise across all content and communication channels.

About You
• You’re a passionate designer, educator, and communicator with at least five years of UI/UX design experience and the ability to create engaging educational content.
• You have practical industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of the skills modern designers need.
• You’re excited to help designers advance their careers and know exactly how to guide them.
• You’ve written and published design-related articles.
• You can transform complex, abstract ideas into practical, accessible lessons.
• You’re an exceptional writer with sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of flow.
• You care deeply about producing polished, grammatically perfect copy.
• You may have graphic design skills to produce visuals for courses, articles, and social media.
• You understand what the design community enjoys learning and can create content that meets those interests.
• You can juggle diverse responsibilities and break big goals into manageable tasks—“getting things done” is second nature to you.
• You’re a practical idealist—striving for excellence while understanding the need for quick wins, MVPs, and knowing when to push for perfection.
• You’re motivated by results and goals, and mediocrity isn’t an option for you.
• You believe excellence comes from hard work and a commitment to your craft.
• You’re kind, empathetic, and skilled at connecting with different types of people through writing.
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in UX, HCI, IT, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent senior-level industry experience.
• You write and speak English with native-level fluency.
• You’re a clear, engaging communicator who can simplify complex ideas.
• You enjoy creating inspiring, research-based content and believe that design education should be exciting.
• You’re reliable, self-driven, and able to manage your work independently.
• You live in a time zone between UTC+0 (Western Europe) and UTC+8 (Southeast Asia).

• Run your own blog with original UI/UX content.
• Have experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, or facilitating in design.
• Have worked as an editor or developed online courses.
• Have collaborated with video production teams.

• Earned top academic grades.
