We’re a small but growing company in need of some development talent. Until now, we’ve made do with a guy who has no formal development training doing all of the development work. As we make the next step, we need a real expert to help us with all the things we don’t have the experience or know how to do. You’ll jump right in on our main product, an ASP. Net web application for managing dance studios. Sure it sounds a little strange and niche, but it’s kept us in business and thriving since 1994

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work both independently and as part of a team developing and maintaining our existing web application

• Develop and execute project specs based on feedback from our customers and new features we’re trying to implement

• Troubleshoot bugs and make recommendations for streamlining our application and increasing its reliability

• Exercise patience while your boss fumbles through a technical explanation using works like ‘doohickey’ and ‘thingummy’

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• We have a highly informal office in Little Five Points where you’re welcome to work full or part time, or you can work remotely – we’ll need you present at the office from time to time, but it will be flexible

• Opportunities to pursue other interest areas – we’re developing our first set of mobile apps and we’re always open to new product ideas

• No dress code or set hours – come as you are, when you want

• Two friendly Labrador Retrievers join us most days to hang out – have a friendly dog? You can bring it along if you want.

• We’ll let you pick your equipment – as long as it runs Visual Studio and it isn’t completely unreasonable, it’s yours
