Come help us build the future of Stack Overflow Careers! We’re obsessed with serving two customers: employers and developers. This Product Manager will focus on the employer experience.
We want you to teach employers the best way to recruit developers, and give them the tools to solve what is a very hard problem for employers: hiring developers. We have a variety of products that give you a head start. You’ll do a lot, but here are some of the things you should be excited about:
Fixing a broken recruiting model: Help companies succeed by teaching them how developers want to be recruited.
Creating public artifacts: Write blog posts announcing new features and why they matter.
Testing and iterating: Nobody gets it right on the first try, which is why we prefer to prototype, test, and rapidly iterate based on data and user feedback.
Convincing passionate people: Our marketing and sales team care a lot about our clients. You should be excited about convincing them why your ideas will make the employer experience better, and work through issues with them when they disagree.
We’re looking to hire the right person wherever you are in the world. We work remotely (see https://stackoverflow.blog/2013/02/01/why-we-still-believe-in-working-remotely) so you’ll likely work from home and interact with the team over Google Hangouts and chat, usually during US and European working hours. We have offices in New York, London and Denver, so if you’re in one of those cities you’ll have the option of working out of an office.
