Spotify is looking for driven, music‑loving, and ambitious students. This isn’t a typical internship: our paid program gives you the chance to dive deep into life at Spotify and explore the technology behind a rapidly growing company. Our summer internships last about 10 weeks and start in mid‑June.
If software engineering or data science excites you, you’ll feel right at home. We’re seeking interns to contribute in areas such as backend, web/frontend, full stack, C++, data, mobile (iOS/Android), and data science. As an engineering intern, you’ll help develop the systems behind our app, scale distributed systems, and continually improve our engineering practices. Your work will directly shape how people experience audio around the world.
As a data science intern, you’ll analyze large datasets to uncover insights and gain a deep understanding of music and listener behavior, helping guide Spotify’s strategy and direction. You’ll explore user habits, key initiatives, markets, content, and new features to ensure data‑informed decision‑making throughout the company. Your contribution will have a direct impact on how people listen globally.
