Are you a NetSuite Administrator who excels in a fast-paced, rapidly growing setting? When you spot a manual task, do you instinctively look for ways to automate it? We’re seeking a Senior Administrator who’s passionate about unlocking the full capabilities of NetSuite to build a seamless and scalable back-end foundation.
We’re looking for someone forward-thinking—someone ready to move beyond manual work and explore how AI and automation can simplify life for the Finance team, whether that means using AI to speed up scripting or implementing tools that streamline complex close reconciliations. Your skills will help our teams work smoothly and efficiently, ensuring our systems remain strong, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Serve as the primary NetSuite expert, fully responsible for administration, optimization, and cross-functional system support.
• East Coast location preferred, ideally within commuting distance to our Holmdel, NJ headquarters for occasional visits.
System Administration & Governance
• Maintain overall system health by monitoring performance, addressing issues quickly, and applying patches to keep everything running smoothly.
• Safeguard data quality by performing routine audits, managing data migrations, and promoting best practices for data accuracy across the organization.
• Oversee user access and security by configuring roles, permissions, and controls to uphold data protection and compliance standards.
Automation & Solution Design
• Work with the CFO organization on AI initiatives to identify and implement opportunities that boost efficiency and automate manual tasks.
• Lead automation efforts for key financial workflows (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report) to minimize manual work.
• Manage the full development lifecycle by overseeing the sandbox environment and following a structured process for designing, testing, and deploying system updates and customizations.
• Collaborate with teams across the company to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, best-practice NetSuite solutions.
Reporting, Analytics & Finance Support
• Support the Finance team during month-end close by troubleshooting issues, resolving data inconsistencies, and helping ensure timely reporting.
• Build and maintain advanced saved searches, financial reports, and KPI dashboards that support decision-making for Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams.
• Continuously explore new reporting improvements and visualizations to enhance business insights.
User Support, Training & Documentation
• Act as the first point of contact for user issues and resolve system-related problems across the organization.
• Provide training and develop clear documentation—including configuration details and process flows—to help users get the most out of the system.
• Communicate system updates, new features, and maintenance schedules to stakeholders and end-users.
Upgrades & Continuous Improvement
• Lead quarterly NetSuite update efforts, including impact assessments, regression testing, and post-release validation.
• Support ongoing initiatives to explore automation and AI-driven enhancements that keep the system modern and efficient.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator.
• Experience supporting Finance or ERP environments with strong knowledge of accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, Project Billing, Inventory).
• Experience with Zone Billing or similar advanced billing tools for recurring and usage-based subscription models.
• Strong skills with Saved Searches, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Proven ability to manage system security, roles, permissions, and change control.
• Strong background with third-party integrations; experience with Boomi, Celigo, or platforms like High Radius is a significant advantage.
• A systems-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and streamlined operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Strong communication skills for partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and willingness to explore new technologies such as AI and automation.
