We are looking for a hands-on professional to join an offshore data processing team responsible for manually handling documents when OCR automation does not succeed. This role centers on operational support, process design, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manually enter data and validate documents when OCR automation fails.
– Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of processed data.
– Provide support during peak demand and operational gaps.
– Define, document, and enhance end-to-end back-office processes for OCR exception handling.
– Create SOPs, quality controls, and productivity standards.
– Update OCR templates in response to changes in source documents.
– Revise templates for each document type when OCR errors occur.
– Continuously refine workflows to reduce backlog, delays, and rework.
– Monitor and report key metrics such as throughput, accuracy, backlog, turnaround time, and exceptions.
– Identify bottlenecks, risks, and performance issues, and take corrective action.

Technical Skills:
– Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) for communication with U.S. clients.
– Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese.
– Experience handling operational issues and performing root cause analysis.
– Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and suggesting workflow improvements.
– Skilled in defining, documenting, and improving back-office processes, including SOPs and quality controls.
– Experience tracking performance metrics like throughput, accuracy, and turnaround time.
– Availability for flexible work hours.
– Familiarity with data entry tools and OCR technologies.
