Job Title: Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative

Compensation: $16.50 per hour paid bi-weekly, or $17.25 per hour for bilingual English/Spanish candidates.
Location: Remote, but you must live in Buffalo, NY.
Schedule:
• After 30 days, bilingual pay increases to $18.75 per hour and regular pay increases to $18.00 per hour.
• No weekend shifts—Monday through Friday only.
• During peak season, expect 40 hours per week with possible overtime.
• During off‑peak periods, hours may range from 32 to 40 per week depending on client demand.
• Must be available for shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with occasional extended hours until 10:00 or 11:00 PM.
• Some West Coast assignments may require availability from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Position Overview:
We are hiring Remote Benefits Customer Service Representatives (local candidates only). Join our team and help members understand and manage their healthcare and pension benefits. This role allows you to provide meaningful support and positively impact people’s daily lives.

Responsibilities:
• Assist members with enrolling in benefits and making updates to their health or pension plans.
• Provide high‑quality support through phone, email, and webchat.
• Begin by supporting one client and be trained over time to assist multiple clients.
• Address a range of member questions with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
• Review and simplify plan documents for members.
• Handle confidential information carefully and in compliance with HIPAA and data privacy rules.

Qualifications:
This is a remote role, but you must be local to participate. You will need to pick up equipment on your first day and may be required to attend occasional in‑person meetings.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or call center experience is helpful but not mandatory—training is provided.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working with different personality types.
• Basic computer skills required.
