The Impact of a Technical Architect at Coupa:

We seek a Technical Architect to join our highly skilled Professional Services team supporting Coupa Treasury. Our teams work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable integration solutions that enable successful Treasury implementations.

As a Technical Architect, you will support the design, implementation, and operation of technical integration solutions for Coupa Treasury within diverse customer environments. You will work under the guidance of Technical and Solution Architects, build hands-on experience across Treasury and Payments integrations, and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Support Treasury integration projects through technical design, configuration, testing, and issue resolution in collaboration with Coupa, customers, and internal teams
• Contribute to technical deliverables while adhering to project timelines, quality standards, and established best practices
• Collaborate closely with Technical Architects, Solution Architects, and integration engineers to design and deliver agreed integration solutions
• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot RESTful API and flat-file integrations across multi-ERP and customer environments
• Assist in building and supporting integration infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading from internal and external sources
• Engage with customer technical teams, work independently or in distributed teams, and contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and enablement across global time zones

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

• Foundational hands-on or academic experience with integration technologies in Treasury and Payments, including REST APIs, sFTP, HTTPS, and common integration patterns
• Exposure to integrations with bank systems, ERP platforms, or Treasury applications; familiarity with SWIFT, EBICS, direct bank connections, and market data providers is a plus
• Understanding of payment and account statement formats and broader Treasury and Payments functional concepts
• Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; fluent in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, able to take ownership of tasks, grow technical and functional expertise, and deliver work with guidance and feedback
