A multi-disciplinary design wizard who will design the UI and UX of our marketplace (improve our current website design and design an app from scratch). Someone who understands e-commerce, buyers’ and artists’ psychology, and who can be original and practical.

You will constantly measure and improve our existing design, design new elements and features, build and lead a team as we grow… whatever it takes. You will have complete ownership over our product’s design.

You need to be excited to take on the tremendous opportunity, and enjoy the adventure. Bring a positive, can-do energy, and relish the challenge to do better than you think you are capable of. Regarding quality of work and delivering on commitments, you need to be your own toughest critic. All Co-Founders need to support, encourage and push each other to deliver the best user experience we can… as a team.

• We’re nearing beta launch and the Founder+CEO is looking for funding. He is talking to an angel fund that can help us ramp up and better position Mobilize Art to raise a seed round.

Basing the company in silicon valley presents the best opportunity for us. If you need to be based somewhere else, we can talk about it. You are not required to quit your current job until we have secured angel funding or unless you feel compelled to jump-in full-time.

COMPENSATION

Co-Founder equity that vests over time and salary upon angel funding.

CO-FOUNDING TEAM (you will work closely with your Co-Founders): Business Co-Founder: Zubin Mehta has an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He grew up around art as the son of an artist mother.

Design Co-Founder: Open. A top-notch designer who can help us design a website and app as beautiful and original as the art we sell.

Curatorial Co-Founder: Open. A top-notch curator with experience in the world of curation / art to help spearhead that aspect of the business.
