The Social Media Manager is responsible for the management of the online community as well as content production, distribution and measurement. The successful candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to collaborate with the team on a daily basis to produce the best possible results. You must basic experience managing social media marketing to some degree, not just creating Facebook posts or hashtagging.
You will be responsible for the ongoing implementation of small social media strategies to deliver increased engagement and revenue, customer service and retention, and assisting in the development of the brand online. Minimum qualifications: 6 months – 1 year working as a social media community manager or in a marketing environment Proven track record managing successful social profiles (must provide examples) May include, but is not limited to Facebook for Business, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Instagram Coordinate/assists in projects and special assignments relating to content for brand channels Ability to collaborate with agencies and affiliates as per campaigns set out A basic understanding of social media and digital marketing tools Understanding of social media metrics and analytics Photo & Video editing are an asset WordPress experience is a must Strong writing skills Available to respond in a timely manner to questions and comments within the community Facebook ads skills are a plus
