DESCRIPTION:
Pillow Homes is looking to hire a full-time Manager of City Operations (MCO) to lead the growing team who services Pillow’s properties throughout the Los Angeles area. As an MCO, you’ll essentially be the CEO, COO, and CFO for Pillow’s entire L. A. market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll primarily be held accountable for managing operations for the full team of Property Experts, Hospitality Pros, Cleaning Partners, Laundry Partners, and Maintenance Partners. These workers are responsible for everything from meeting with Homeowners to launch new properties on our platform, to cleaning & maintaining properties between reservations.
At a high level, the MCO is personally accountable for the health of the P&L for Pillow’s Los Angeles operations. The MCO maximizes revenues by pushing your Property Experts to successfully Onboard as many high-quality properties as possible, while you also partner with Pillow’s Marketing team on various initiatives to attract interest from more Homeowner clients. The MCO minimizes losses by maintaining exceptional service standards for all property cleanings, preparations, etc. to provide Pillow’s guests with excellent service that will avoid the need for refunds.
Day-to-day activities will include the following, plus much more:
- Meeting with VIP Homeowners for property consultations
- Training new Property Experts and Cleaning Partners on customer service & cleaning excellence, how to work with Pillow’s mobile app, etc.
- Meeting with Laundry Partners for discussions about inventory management
- Managing schedules for Property Experts, Hospitality Pros, and Cleaning Partners to ensure full coverage across calendar
- Driving marketing initiatives on the ground in LA based on high-level directions from HQ team
- Organizing community-building events for local team
- Regularly-scheduled P&L discussions with Head of Field Operations (based at HQ in San Francisco)
