- We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Associate specializing in Background Verification (BGV) to join our dynamic HR team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity of our hiring processes and maintaining compliance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will manage background verification processes and contribute to overall HR operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize HR systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accurate reporting.
• Implement, update, and advise on HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to labor laws.
• Manage smooth onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle transactions, supporting employee relations.
• Analyze current HR operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions/new technologies.
• Generate HR reports, monitor KPIs, and use data to support HR strategy.
• Act as a point of contact for employees, managers, IT, and third parties on HR systems and processes.
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end background verification process for new hires for offshore and onshore as per policy requirements
• Review and analyze background verification reports, flagging any discrepancies or issues for further investigation.
• Updating internal trackers on all checks/cases and submit metrics
• Achieving a low turnaround time for completing checks • Manage relationship with verification agencies and ensure their SLA is met
• Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives, managing specific tasks
• Participate in audits and compliance checks, ensuring HR practices meet audit standards
• Manage and extend support to benefits related activities like insurance, R&R, etc.,
Basic Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge on MS applications specifically “Excel”
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and vendors
• Positive attitude and a learning attitude
