SocialNewsDesk is set of a leading social media SaaS products for the news industry. We are a fully distributed company (everyone works from home) of 15 people dedicated to creating great software products.

You will be the leader of our company’s software engineering and product development, reporting directly to our president. You will manage our three current SaaS products, including managing product backlogs, development efforts and bug triage. You will also directly manage our Software Developers and our contract software development Scrum team, which we source through a strategic vendor.

You will also delve into the code regularly (Nodejs/MongoDB/AngularJS and C# . NET/SQL) to build features yourself and to solve challenge problems. This job will be about 50% leadership and management and 50% coding.
