The Party Host / Elevated Shift Lead is an in-store role for team members who shine in customer engagement and can confidently step into leadership when needed. This role blends event hosting, sales-minded promotion, and shift leadership, helping deliver unforgettable cookie-making experiences while supporting daily operations and driving party growth.
You’ll host high-energy cookie parties, manage flow and execution in-store, and act as a key culture carrier—ensuring guests, teammates, and the brand all shine while meeting Insomnia’s metrics and goals.
As a Party Host
· Lead interactive cookie parties and group experiences with confidence, enthusiasm, and warmth.
· Set the tone for a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for guests of all ages.
· Manage full event flow, including setup, baking, games, guest engagement, clean-up, and closeout.
· Personalize each party with exceptional service and attention to detail.
· Serve as the “face of the brand,” ensuring every guest leaves smiling (and full of cookies and milkshakes).
· Collaborate with management on social media ideas and content for Instagram and TikTok.
Marketing & Sales Responsibilities
· Promote party packages through in-store conversations, phone/email outreach, social engagement, and community networking.
· Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into booked events.
· Use marketing tools (email campaigns, SMS, social posts, flyers, referrals, etc.) to generate new party business.
· Build and maintain relationships with schools, local businesses, and community organizations.
· Collect testimonials, photos, and guest feedback for marketing purposes.
· Track leads, bookings, referrals, and follow-up activity in the scheduling or CRM system.
· Participate in select marketing events, open houses, or community outreach opportunities that are intentional and results-driven.
As an Elevated Shift Lead
· Support daily operations including opening/closing duties and basic cash management.
· Lead by example, coaching team members on service, safety, and efficiency.
· Step into a leadership role when management is unavailable.
· Participate periodically in development or leadership session calls.
· Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally, resolving challenges with confidence.
· Ensure brand standards for cleanliness, product quality, and presentation are consistently met.
· Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory counts, ice cream ordering, and party/shift planning.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Party Hosting KPIs
· Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): Target 4.7/5 or higher from post-party surveys.
· On-Time Event Execution: 95% of parties start and end on schedule.
· Incident-Free Events: Maintain a 98–100% safety compliance rate.
· Referral Rate: Track and grow the percentage of parties that generate at least one qualified referral.
Note: Repeat bookings may be tracked when applicable, but referrals are a primary growth indicator given the annual nature of many celebrations (birthdays, work events, etc.).
Marketing & Sales KPIs
· Monthly Party Booking Target: 10 parties.
· Lead-to-Booking Conversion Rate: 30–50%.
· New Leads Generated: 20–30 quality leads per month.
· Follow-Up Completion Rate: 100% of inquiries followed up within 24–48 hours.
Community Marketing KPIs
· Business Partnerships: 2–4 new partnerships per quarter.
· Event Representation: Participation in 3–5 meaningful community or promotional events per quarter, with flexibility based on seasonality (heavier summer activity, lighter winter cadence).
o Focus is placed on impactful, worthwhile events rather than attending events solely to meet a numeric target.

$17 – $17.50 an hour
