SoundFit seeks a software developer who can take over and extend our server side 3D modeling software used by our SugarCube 3D Desktop scanner. This software receives every set of scan images uploaded from scanners and processes them into 3D models that can be displayed on web pages, downloaded, manipulated in CAD software or 3D printed. Our server software also generates web pages for each image set and 3D model, sends notifications/email to originators and intended recipients of each scan, and has a number of web dashboards and display pages that enable our customers and support staff to monitor and manage processing, and for the production of invoices and reports. The accepted candidate will be responsible for all this.

REQUIRED SKILLS Our server software is written entirely in PHP, and the applicant must be expert in writing PHP and very familiar with using MySQL databases on Apache Web Servers running on Linux (LAMP stack). Developer must be familiar with using the object oriented programming paradigm, PHP Objects and JSON.

Web pages are written in HTML 5, PHP and JavaScript. Linux shell scripts and Cron files that run daemons are written in bash. MySQL is used for basic database functions..
