Brightech is looking for a Business Analyst with experience operating in an Agile team environment. They will be responsible for understanding the business and technology needs for a global enterprise technology platform. This position will require a few hats to be worn. The ideal candidate will be able to elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts, but also infer requirements from existing documentation and discussions. A comfort level with technical specifications and clarifying what a team needs to deliver is also extremely important. This position is 100% remote.

The candidate will operate in a capacity that will not only capture requirements but also ensure the team is delivering on customer expectations. This is a hands-on role, not a facilitation role, you should have experience engaging with senior organization executives as well as technology professionals. Knowledge and awareness of logistical operations is a key differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements using document analysis, requirements meetings, business process descriptions, use cases, and all other relevant means.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile discrepancies to transpose high-level information into a general understanding and actionable requirements.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs.
• Strong analytical and product management skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Maintain, prioritize, and monitor an ongoing list of backlog requirements.
• Assist in daily team oversight activities including internal and external standups

Requirements

• Minimum, 5 years of associated work experience
• Excellent oral and written communications
• Experience in web-based system development
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and ClickUp a plus
• Team player who works well with technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance

Benefits

Rate: $50-65/hr
