FanTalk islooking for a Senior Software Engineer to focus on mobile development who wants to make a difference and join a world class team. Each member of the FanTalk team thrives on building world class products and is able to make a meaningful impact on their area of focus.

Responsibilities

• Together with the lead software engineer, evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for the engineering team to use

• Build upon the existing mobile client (iOS for now, Android later)

• Work together with our lead software engineer to develop APIs needed for iOS and Android clients

• Help recruit new members to the technical team

Requirements

• Battle scars from building large scale systems

• Passion for building products used by millions worldwide and for being a collaborative team member

• BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience from accredited university. Complete command of CS fundamentals including algorithm design, data structures, and system design is a must

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Experience working in small teams using Agile development to deliver high quality results quickly and consistently

• Inspirational personality and the ability to form strong interpersonal bonds

Nice to haves

• Experience with our existing tech stack (nodejs, heroku, Objective-C, Android Java, MongoDB)

• In-depth knowledge of sports

• Front-end mobile web development a plus
