We are looking for a UI/UX designer to lead the mobile and web efforts at Groopie, Inc. Our ideal candidate would have a passion for beautifully designed mobile apps and web pages that speak to the existing Groopie brand and aesthetic. You should have an interest in designing intuitive products for digital entertainment and social media influencers. You should also have a demonstrated track record of producing results that support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a rapid growth startup.

Requirements: • 2+ years of professional experience delivering quality digital products for a rapid growth startup or equivalent. • Demonstrated experience consulting with key stakeholders regarding UI/UX design decisions. • Experience with Android and/or iOS design principles and commonly used lexicons. • Ability to effectively illustrate UI/UX concepts and designs with supporting decision-making evidence such as user research or other datasets. • Design aesthetic that closely aligns with the Groopie brand. • Previous experience with Sketch and Envision a plus. • Self-sufficient

Responsibilities: • Design software products and user interfaces that deliver consistently engaging and joyful experiences on mobile and web. • Communicate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers and marketers. • Work iteratively to define and continually refine both overall product vision and specific features and interactions. • Develop ideas into polished, user friendly, and pixel-perfect interfaces. • Meaningfully contribute to a product’s design standards and style guide. • Discover what matters to users and help determine not just what things look like, but how they work and what we build next.
