Clique is looking for a talented back-end or full-stack engineer to join as a CTO. We are a Seattle-based start-up building a group-focused social platform that makes it easy to share what you are browsing online with friends. We are building an alternative to purely algorithmic "personalization" solutions, creating a platform based on the idea that our friends know what truly inspires and excites us. Our platform will be launching in mid-May.
Given our early stage, this position offers a lot of flexibility and autonomy but requires a real self-starter. Successful candidates will be able to execute aggressive development plans in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with little guidance. Equity compensation will be appropriate with joining the company as one of its first employees. Given the uncertainty in joining any pre-launch venture, a full-time commitment is not initially required though it is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Experience in API development for multiplatform applications
- Ability to learn/perform front-end development tasks as necessary
- Proven ability to set and meet goals in a fast-moving environment
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems
Preferred Skills:
- Previous early stage start-up experience
- Full-stack development experience
- PHP/Laravel expertise
- Willing to work full-time immediately

$80,000 — $100,000/year
