WegoWise is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to help us bring our story to the market and drive revenue growth.
What You’ll Get to Work On: Write and edit compelling content including customer case studies, evergreen web pages, ad hoc landing pages, outbound email campaigns, white papers, published articles and bylines, blog, social media pieces, sales collateral, and client communications Drive communications strategy and craft messaging that will resonate with our target audience Optimize and distribute content in an effective manner in order to reach our audience Collaborate with internal and external resources (eg. PR agency)
Goals for this Role: Drive new leads Supply the sales team with compelling materials that demonstrate our value to prospective customers Nurture positive customer relationships and renewals and increase the adoption of additional services Elevate awareness and credibility of WegoWise in the industry
Desired Skills: Extraordinary writing and editing skills (We need someone who can first and foremost roll up their sleeves and write. We are a relatively small team and this our first and only in-house communications role.) You have the desire and ability to gain a deep understanding of our business, our customers, and our market You are great at gathering rough sketches from others (employees, customers) and turning those kernels into polished, compelling pieces You are pragmatic and goal-oriented; you measure the success of your communications by their impact on the business goals outlined above You can create and deliver on a comprehensive content calendar You are well-versed in best practices for SEM, PR, content distribution and optimization Experience in a related business/industry is a plus (B2B, SaaS, real estate, energy efficiency) You thrive in a fast-moving start-up environment You are a nice person 🙂
