Compliance Officer
The Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company’s compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a culture of compliance and integrity within our organization.
The main responsibilities of the position include:

    • Conduct desk-based reviews and inspections as part of the Compliance Risk Assessment and Monitoring Program, ensuring the Company’s full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Assess the effectiveness and adequacy of internal policies, procedures, and control mechanisms, identifying potential areas for enhancement.
    • Support senior members of the Compliance Department in the preparation and timely submission of monthly and ad-hoc regulatory reports.
    • Assist senior team members in managing communications and correspondence with regulatory authorities.
    • Contribute to the development, revision, and implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring consistent dissemination and understanding across all relevant departments.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring the Company’s compliance framework remains current and effective.
    • Provide operational support to the Compliance team, including participation in special assignments and cross-departmental projects as required.
    • Assist in the maintenance and organisation of internal compliance records and documentation.
    • Support senior team members in the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of legal and regulatory developments to senior management and the Board of Directors.
Main requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
    • CySEC Advanced Certification will be considered an advantage.
    • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles.
    • Knowledge and practical experience in international regulatory compliance frameworks will be considered an advantage.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
    • Integrity of character and high levels of confidentiality.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
