Position Summary:
• Partner Recruitment: You will lead our channel partner recruitment and sales efforts, including regular travel and daily interactions with several partners. You will actively identify, engage, and convert prospective telecom channel partners to market and sell Bigleaf services. You will help build the foundation of this program, including negotiating channel partner agreements and addressing channel conflict issues.
• Partner Sales Enablement & Support: Once partners are recruited, you will be responsible for driving the training, engagement, and success of our partners. These efforts will include helping to build a partner sales enablement program, partner marketing program, and ongoing support for our partners’ sales efforts.
• Growth: Bigleaf Networks will grow via its channel partners and you will be at the heart of that. You will be responsible for consistently exceeding sales quotas and goals, as well as growing the Bigleaf channel team. You will be a leader and key member of our founding team, helping us define our culture, direction, and success. You need to love the challenge of building a business from scratch and comfortable with the inevitable struggles on our road to success.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience working in the indirect telecom channel for a Telco, Cable Co, ISP, VoIP/UC Provider, or Master Agent • Established relationships with telecom Master Agents • Background in development/creation of Partner Training & Sales Enablement Programs • Understanding of current sales & marketing principles including content development, demand generation, and tools such as Salesforce • Familiar with telecom networking fundamentals, as well as cloud computing and unified communications basics • Effective communication & presentation skills, always representing your company in a positive and professional manner • Comfortable with travel throughout the US & Canada
