We’re currently in Blue Startups accelerator’s Spring 2015 cohort (#StartupParadise). Huedoku is a color puzzle that heightens color literacy and cognitive skill. It’s visually rewarding and mentally challenging.

We have a patent pending on the color puzzle which is the foundation of our app. Huedoku is in the app store and we have great retention despite a need for UX/UI and gamification. This is a dream position for someone that sees a design need and can’t help but want to fix it. We have sketched out the requirements and brainstormed a strategy. This position is responsible for the user experience while we build the business.

Ideally you have experience designing a successful app: -based on a recurring payment model -with profiles of users based on their behavior in the app, -with rewards and improvement incentives -and brilliant sexy gamification

Huedoku is our flagship product and we have a product roadmap that extends out 3 years.

The salary and start date are pending funding after our Angel round. We’re currently in the midst of an accelerator program, and the right candidate should be able to jump in asap on a part time basis in order to help pitch to investors in early June. In other words, we want you to be a part of the team before pitching to investors.

We want someone who will geek out on dreaming up the best new techniques in the marketplace.

The applicant should will be willing to work from Hawaii at least part time, and we’re open to various arrangements.
