Gridium is looking for a business development leader for its several new territories including South Florida, Arizona, Houston, San Diego and Las Vegas. You’ll be launching and building a new sales territory, representing existing and upcoming Gridium products to existing commercial building clients and continuing Gridium’s strong growth trajectory.
The candidate will report directly to the CEO and be expected to manage and thrive with board-level exposure.
What you’ll love doing at Gridium:
● Meeting with facility managers, chief engineers and property managers to help match their energy and building operations needs with Gridium software solutions. ● Enrolling customers in free software trials, and managing the contracting process for those who decide to continue to purchase. ● Contributing to the development of products by providing your field insights and customer feedback to the development team. ● Expanding your energy management and building operating knowledge, and providing consultative sales advice to customers and prospects.
Strong candidates meet these qualifications:
● At least one year of outside sales experience, preferably with software solutions. Candidates seeking their first outside sales job are encouraged to apply, but should arrive with inspiring stories about things they have sold without the formal title. ● Demonstrated energy, building operations, or commercial real estate knowledge, and thirst for learning
