About You and the Role:

You’ll join a small team as a senior engineer working directly with our CTO and small team of excellent engineers building our technical roadmap. You will architect and build features, review code, write tests, maintain infrastructure, and help define best practices. You thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments that require you to wear many hats and think on your feet. You’re independent, you lead by example, and you’re obsessed with building great products and teams.

Your primary role will be working in our AWS backend environment. We are busy working with loads of real estate and social data and the backend infastruture to support our web and native applications. In this role, you will anchor our back end development through technical leadership and architecture.

Experience:

Must Haves

• 5+ years backend software engineering working on production applications
• AWS (Elastic Search, S3, CDK, Dynamo, lambda, etc.)
• GraphQL
• Javascript
• RDBMS (Postgres, RDS, etc)
• Database optimization SQL/no-SQL
• CI/CD
• Testing
• Algorithms & Data Structures

About Us: Trusty is making real estate social. We are introducing a new way to buy and sell homes by creating a platform for home buyers & sellers, real estate enthusiasts, real estate agents and other home professionals to review and provide commentary on homes for sale. This new way to discover real estate allows consumers to easily track trends, find commentary from a variety of users and make the entire experience more social. We are also going beyond listings and creating the ability to talk about any home and make offers to buy any home.

Salary and compensation

$70,000 — $120,000/year
