Under general direction, this role is responsible for creating and modifying software throughout the full system life cycle. Duties include coding, testing, implementation, application support, and mentoring other developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java/Spring Boot code.
• Create custom modules and components extending Angular 2+.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues (root cause analysis, debugging, configuration, and testing).
• Provide post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition into production.
• Design and develop applications using Spring Boot, Java 8+, HTML5 (Bootstrap), Angular 2+, Docker, JavaScript, XML, CSS, JQuery, REST Services, Hibernate, etc.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical staff, and vendors to define requirements and support project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular 2+, Bootstrap, Hibernate, REST Services, OR 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with OS/SQL and Oracle databases preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Java 8+ and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Spring, Hibernate, MVC, JDBC, RESTful services.
• Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Creation of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Database schema design to support business processes.
