As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing new and innovative products that change the how our customers view, understand, and interact with cyber security.

Along with coding, you will be responsible for working with our frontend developers and designers on our agile and ultra-efficient team. Communicating with customers is a must to make sure we are tackling the right challenges and solving their most pressing needs.

You will: Design and architect new products all the way from the whiteboard to production You have: 3+ years of experience with Scala and/or Java + another functional language 1+ years of experience with a web application framework such as Play, Spring, or Struts Experience in distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, data visualization and/or developing enterprise software systems A strong sense of pride in writing code that is both well-tested and well-designed Experience with actor systems (such as Akka) a plus!
