The opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Developer (Mobile / React native) to help lead the development team, technology strategy & implementation for our mobile apps on iOS & Android.
You’ll work alongside the CEO and Product Manager to:
- Define; implement a mobile technology stack (front & back-end) that aligns with our business goals
- Work with the development team to build a high-quality mobile experience
- Lead development, coding, testing, and debugging of the mobile apps on iOS & Android platforms
- Help define app development timelines & requirements
- Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
- Groom user stories
Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in software & app development
- In-depth knowledge of Javascript / Typescript, SQL
- In-depth knowledge of React-native, Reactjs
- Experience with AWS, Firebase, Firestore
- Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
- Fluency in modern app technologies
- Experience with nodejs and related web frameworks
- Experience with GraphQL and keeping GraphQL performant
- Experience with build tools like Webpack, Babel, CircleCI
- Experience designing clean and useable APIs
- Penchant for elegant and simple solutions for complex requirements
