We’re looking for a talented, mid or junior level developer to work on our internal skunkworks projects, in short you will be building tonnes of different MVPS.The most successful of which will be developed into full on products. The work will never be repetitive, never dull and will always be exciting.

Most of these projects will involve some front end, and some basic api usage (Twitter, Youtube, Facebook) as well as building some small databases using our market research data.

If you have worked on the tech side of an advertising or market research agency that would be a bonus but is not essential.

ROLE:

The ability to work both with others and alone, the ability to take initiatives and see the the business angle of any tech product is a must! You must also be willing and able to pick up new skills quickly, integrate new apis and build front end very quickly (design is important but not essential).

You will work predominantly with CEO and the product development team, building and testing new ideas for market fit before the main development turn them into scalable products.

As with all Startups, this is a wide and varied role. Essentially, we’re looking for someone who’s flexible and capable with a genuine passion for technology. ABOUT US: Portent. IO is a VC funded, team of 12 based between London, LA and Poland. We our a data science and marketing optimisation company which focusses on the entertainment industry and we our clients include both major and minor studios.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS.PHP or Python or Ruby (but we prefer Python) MySQL Knowledge of Youtube’s, Twitter’s, Instagram’s API’s. An understanding of responsive web design. Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.
