Rollinglobe (www.rollinglobe.com) is an ecommerce platform that lets anyone open an online travel store and earn money selling their favorite trips.

Users can offer over 600,000 hotel, tour, and activity products on their personalized stores, as well as combine individual products into custom travel packages. Anytime someone books a trip from their store, the user receives an affiliate commission.

In May 2015, we graduated from ERA (https://www.eranyc.com), one of NYC’s top startup accelerators. We are experiencing incredible growth and are looking for the next member of our rock-star team!

We are seeking interns interested in front end and/or back end development.

Responsibilities: • Assist in QA tests to ensure UX is consistent across browsers • Work with our Product Development team to design intuitive and fully functional UI • Create wireframes, refine mockups, and otherwise assist the Product Development team in ongoing projects

Requirements: • Expert with XHTML, HTML, CSS, and Javascript • Experience designing and developing solutions for high scalability and high performance • Strong Knowledge of best practices, patterns and latest technologies • Ability to function as a team player

The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualities:

Preferred: • Successful UI / UX design experience • Strong https://dotnet.microsoft.com/apps/aspnet experience (NOT required) • Previous ecommerce experience • Successful QA and/or Usability Testing Experience • Experience with GDS technology, particularly Sabre (NOT required)

This role has the potential to lead into a full-time offer for the right candidates. Compensation is based on experience.
