You will be presented with exciting challenges in native and mobile application development for our portfolio companies. Our Software Engineers work on many projects that carry varying responsibilities. You will build software products (IoT, Mobile and Enterprise Software Applications) for Android and iOS.

Android Development, will be done primarily in Java and using the Android SDK.

iOS Development, you will develop applications and SDKs primarily in Objective-C and using the iOS SDK. (Swift a plus)

Responsibilities Design and implement new user-facing features for Paperclip Portfolio companies. Build the libraries and frameworks that support large, complex web applications. Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices. Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.

Minimum qualifications Experience in mobile application development (Portfolio and existing App in stores preferred) 2Yrs + Programming experience in Java, Objective-C, or C++.

Preferred qualifications Deep technical knowledge of mobile app development (Android and iOS). Considerable programming experience in either Java, Objective-C or C++. Knowledge of UI frameworks (Android, iOS or XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch based UI. Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for embedded systems.
