The Role:

PointClickCare is seeking a talented UX Designer who is motivated to make a real difference in people’s lives. By improving the usability of our platform, you will help care professionals make better-informed decisions for their patients and directly support their success. The ideal candidate brings strong design instincts, excellent interpersonal and empathetic skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment.

Who You’ll Work With:

You will report to our Director of User Experience and partner closely with product and engineering teams. By building strong relationships with users, representatives, customer success, and other groups, you will improve the platform’s usability in a way that reflects users’ needs.

What You’ll Do Day to Day:

• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Create mockups to communicate functionality and design
• Develop user personas and map user journeys
• Advocate for best practices in user experience design

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• A college/university degree in a related field (UX Design, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Dovetail, Adobe, Protopie, and others
• Advanced professional UX design experience
• Strong visual design skills—help us deliver the best UI in healthcare
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience gathering and using qualitative and quantitative data
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Expertise in both established and emerging design practices
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• A passion for helping others and building relationships across the organization
• A creative and analytical approach
• Although you won’t write code, knowledge of HTML and CSS is helpful for discussing requirements with engineers
• Experience with usability testing and analytics tools/platforms

Hourly Pay Rate: $48.92–$54.37 USD
