Junior Content Strategist

With that in mind, we are looking for a Junior Content Strategist to join the team! This person will work in tandem with our internal content team and robust team of freelance editors and writers to maximize operational efficiencies and drive the effectiveness of our growing content department.

Our ideal Junior Content Strategist has a strong inner drive to create and execute on predetermined content strategies covering a variety of subjects and audiences.. This role requires experience, expertise, and creativity to ensure that our delivered content meets exact specifications for technical optimization and varied brand voices of our customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Streamlining efficiencies and ensuring maximum impact for Victorious’ content department.

YOU’LL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Assisting in the creation of digital content strategies and tactics within customer SEO campaigns

Creating writer’s briefs for freelancers

Editing various forms of content

Writing new content as needed

Ensuring content is aligned with the vision and objectives of a customer and their overall content and SEO strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A working knowledge of SEO-focused content creation

Excellent editing skills

Strong attention to detail

Experience working within tight deadlines on multiple competing projects

Experience creating deliverables on time with a high level of self-motivation and autonomy, and the self-discipline to be rigorous in turning in great finished copy

Two years experience in a content producing role

Experience creating blog posts and core page content

Experience writing across a variety of subjects

THE “GOOD-TO-HAVES”:

Working SEO knowledge and/or experience with SEO

Digital marketing-related certifications such as; Google Analytics, writing certifications, etc..

Experience with project management

Experience interacting with freelancers on content production
