Network Security Engineer – Cyprus or Greece
The Role:
We are looking for a hands-on, passionate Network Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and configuration of our next-generation firewalls, network infrastructure, and cloud-based Wi-Fi solution administration.
The main responsibilities of the position include:

    • Provide operational support to the business.
    • Investigate operational alerts regarding the network infrastructure in a timely manner.
    • Document and maintain existing documentation related to technologies or procedures used by the team.
    • Support the administration and maintenance of the organization’s firewalls.
    • Work closely with senior team members and contribute to the projects the team delivers.
    • Report and stay abreast of current security technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Main requirements:

    • BSc/MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant degree.
    • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related position.
    • Hands-on experience with firewall administration.
    • Entry-level network engineering qualifications (CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+) will be considered an advantage.
    • Good knowledge of networking solutions such as routers, switches, and Wi-Fi.
    • Good knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IPS, WAF, and VPNs.
    • Basic understanding of various information system technologies (Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, VMware, databases, etc.).
    • Strong interest in security.
    • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
    • Analytical and methodical. Critical thinker and problem solver.
    • Very good verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality results with tight deadlines.
    • Adaptable and fast learner.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Cooperative and a team player.
