Fleetio is a modern software platform that helps thousands of organizations around the world manage their fleet of vehicles and equipment. You’ll work a mix of inbound and outbound leads every day and close new customers using inside sales tactics (emails, phone calls, web-based demos, etc.)
The need for fleet management software is only on the rise and Fleetio has positioned itself as a best-in-class software in this space. 2021 is off to an awesome start and we are not done yet! We’re looking for salespeople to join our team and help grow our revenue by demonstrating our software platform’s value.
This person may work from Fleetio’s HQ in downtown Birmingham, AL, or remotely within the United States. This is an inside sales position and does not require travel. Be sure to mention "coffee" in your application so we know you read this.
What you’ll be doing
- Know our software inside and out – you’ll be a solution expert for Fleetio
- Prospecting new leads, follow up emails, discovery calls, uncovering pain points and closing deals are all part of the day-to-day
- Use consultative sales techniques to help small & medium size organizations understand how Fleetio can help them
- Perform web-based demos for prospects over the world
- Source new leads through cold calling/prospecting (using ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesforce)
- Proactive and consistent follow up with prospects via phone and email
- Negotiate pricing & close opportunities

Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying or sales development role (SDR)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience in prospecting (cold calling and pipeline generation)
- Extremely focused and disciplined with your time
- Outstanding work ethic and hustle with a strong sense of urgency
- Resourceful and determined, yet not afraid to ask for help
