We’re Mutual, a web design and development agency based in the United Kingdom building websites for media organisations, NGOs, universities, and startups.
What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Craft CMS and/or React (using TypeScript) front end developer to join our team. In this role, you will be working on websites using the Next.js framework with styles using Tailwind CSS.

The right candidate would have either excellent Craft or React knowledge – but both are not a necessity as we will cross-train on the job.
Our tools

We use Craft CMS to power the content of our website and consume the content using GraphQL. Our tools and techniques keep evolving, and the right candidate is open to changing things up and eager to explore ideas, but pragmatic enough to know when to stay on the proven path.

Growth

You will be given Fridays to develop your skill set and explore new areas – or the occasional long weekend if you’ve had a long week – away from the pressure and constraints of delivering client work.

Once COVID has passed, we have a few team meet-ups each year to stay connected, but on a day-by-day basis, we work on Slack, GitHub and Zoom.
You’ll get
  • Conference and learning budget
  • Fridays to experiment, contribute to open source, learn, or rest
  • Hardware and software you require
  • The ability to impact change within the business
  • Charity donation matching
  • Flexible working hours
  • 28 days holiday plus your birthday off
Role details

This role is full-time remote. Ideally, you’d be based in the UK, but we’d be open to anybody who can work with some overlap with the wider team and be about for key meetings. +/- 3 hours of the UK can work. Salary is £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
