We’re a team creating an influencer management platform that allows marketing managers to build and measure sponsorship campaigns at scale. Advocate taps into the power of live video-game streaming and social media to deliver real-time control, proprietary insights, and cross-channel analytics at scale.
Advocate is seeking a full-time back-end developer to join our existing team. The successful candidate will be reporting to a product leader to continue developing features towards our future releases.
Responsibilities
* Taking ownership of projects assigned to you from feasibility studies to development, optimization, and testing - Improving product performance for recurring use at scale
- Creating tooling that implements third-party APIs (Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, etc) to produce backend services
- Configuring backend and middleware data layers for the Advocate platform.
Requirements
- Proficient ability in Python 3.6
- Experience building modern customer-facing web-apps
- Experience in small teams, startups, or early-stage web applications
- Heavy experience with Django and Django Rest Framework
- Experience working with asynchronous tasks in Celery

- Redis, PostgreSQL, React, Redux, GCP

- Predictions with machine learning
