This position is a contract position. You will work remotely with a team from around the world to help develop the largest game bot on Discord’s platform.

We are in need of this position for at least two months as we deploy a new codebase, but we’d love if it turned into a long term position if both parties are happy at the end of the contract.

The duties include but are not limited to:

– Manage server-side infrastructure
– Work with the development team to ensure smooth deployments
– Scale and manage a backup infrastructure for millions of users
– Scale and manage GCP or AWS instances along with the technologies we’re using on them

– Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
– Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred)
– Experience scaling large backend application systems
– Experience with at least one of the following: AWS, GCP
– Experience with managed databases (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, or similar) at scale
