As a Partnerships Manager at Kinkly, you will be responsible for enhancing relationships with our existing clients, as well as closing existing leads and generating new ones. Our clients come from a variety of niches within the industry, have varying experiences in digital marketing, and a wide-ranging set of needs. You should be comfortable working with all of them and calibrating your approach to each. You must be flexible with your working hours as you will occasionally be required to hop on early or late phone calls with overseas prospects & leads. Finally, you must have a light-hearted sense of humor and be passionate about the intersection of sex education and technology, the web, and media.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound prospects from end-to-end (cold calling/emailing, nurturing, qualifying, and most importantly – converting)
  • Approach new prospects via various outbound strategies online (e.g. cold emails) and offline (e.g. tradeshows)
  • Educate prospects of all backgrounds and sizes on advantages of online marketing and our unique solutions
  • Respond to formal and informal proposal requests in a timely manner
  • Engage prospects, leads, and clients (inactive and active)
  • Generate new ideas to attract and convert leads
  • Renew campaigns and partnerships of all sizes
  • Work closely with the Content, Product, and Revenue teams to deliver optimal results for clients.
Skills and Experience:
  • 2-3 years experience in a digital media business development role
  • Must have demonstrable experience in managing and growing a portfolio
  • Has worked remotely with teams and cross-functionally
  • Understanding of Salesforce (or other CRM), Excel, and Google Apps
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working and speaking with people – you will be emailing and on the phone a lot
  • Comfortable with processes and frameworks (e.g. sales funnels)
  • Coachable – you should thrive on feedback, and always be seeking to improve yourself
  • Organized, focused, reliable
  • Strong attention to detail, comfortable with data
  • Gritty, iterative, tenacious
  • Industry experience and contacts a bonus
