Restaurant365 is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology team and support the growing platform that hosts internally built Claude AI applications. Working alongside the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help build and maintain Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls that enable business users to deploy and share AI-powered tools.
This role focuses on enterprise-facing applications and internal stakeholder enablement and does not support customer-facing product infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your cloud and DevOps expertise while working on a high-visibility initiative at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure and applied AI.
- Design, deploy, and support provisioning and maintaining Azure infrastructure (App Services, Functions, Container Apps, networking) for hosted Claude AI applications
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipeline stages, deployment templates, and automation scripts in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Support the change management process by managing environment promotion workflows, pull request reviews, and deployment approvals
- Partner with internal application owners and business stakeholders to onboard their Claude AI applications to the hosting platform, ensuring proper configuration and security setup
- Implement and maintain secrets management practices including Azure Key Vault configuration, API key rotation, and OAuth credential handling
- Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics; triage alerts and participate in incident response
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code repositories (Terraform / Bicep), writing and reviewing modules for Azure resource deployment
- Create and maintain documentation including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and onboarding guides for the application hosting platform
- Participate in security reviews to validate that shared applications follow authentication, authorization, and network access policies
- Collaborate with the Senior DevOps Engineer on platform improvements, capacity planning, and automation initiatives
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for operational tasks including deployments, log analysis, health checks, and routine maintenance
- Contribute to disaster recovery and backup procedures, including documenting recovery plans and participating in periodic DR testing exercises
- Assist with Azure cost monitoring by tracking resource consumption, flagging anomalies, and recommending right-sizing opportunities
- Collaborate with InfoSec and IT Security teams during security reviews, vulnerability scanning, and compliance evidence gathering
- Participate in an on-call rotation providing production support for hosted applications, following established escalation procedures
- Recommend and implement platform improvements that reduce manual work, strengthen reliability, improve stakeholder experience, and help scale internal AI and enterprise application usage.
- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Networking, Entra ID, Key Vault)
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
- Basic understanding of identity management, OAuth 2.0, and secrets management
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and foundational knowledge of Kubernetes / AKS
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to incident investigation
- Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
- Exposure to AI/ML application deployment or LLM API integrations
- Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104) or actively pursuing
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, or Azure-native tooling)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, SOX) or experience supporting audit activities
- Experience with disaster recovery planning or business continuity testing
- Interest in restaurant technology, SaaS platforms, or enterprise application support
- Compensation for this position is $925,000 – 1,160,000 MXN annually ($77,083 – $96,666 monthly), depending on experience.
