The Manager of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) leads the development and execution of experimentation strategies across a range of client websites. This position centers on creating effective A/B and multivariate tests, clearly interpreting performance outcomes, and providing data‑driven recommendations that influence Experience Design and broader digital experience initiatives. The CRO Manager works closely with Experience Designers, Technical Account Managers, and Engineering to ensure experiments are well‑constructed and aligned with business objectives. This is a fully client‑facing role that oversees CRO roadmaps, post‑test implementation needs, and ongoing reporting.

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on many factors, including experience, skill set, education, certifications, responsibilities, market conditions, and location. A full benefits package is also included.

This role can be performed remotely in most U.S. states, with some exceptions. While remote work is available, we also maintain office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York where employees can collaborate, work on‑site, attend events, and participate in development opportunities.

You will be:
– Leading hypothesis creation and developing testing strategies for multiple clients
– Building structured CRO test plans with clear goals, KPIs, and success measures
– Working with Experience Design teams to develop UX/UI test variations
– Writing precise and thorough test requirements for development teams
– Using GA4, Hotjar, and experimentation tools to identify friction points
– Setting up A/B and multivariate experiments using platforms like VWO, convert.com, Optimizely, Omniconvert, or AB Tasty
– Conducting QA on experiment setup, variations, tracking, and segmentation
– Monitoring active tests and ensuring statistically sound results
– Translating experiment learnings into insights, next steps, and rollout strategies
– Managing CRO roadmaps and prioritization with Experience Design and DX leadership
– Preparing post‑test documentation and collaborating with TAM and Engineering on execution
– Presenting results, insights, and recommendations directly to clients

AI in practice:
– Using AI to support hypothesis creation and detect behavioral trends
– Applying AI to synthesize findings from Hotjar, GA4, and experiment data
– Leveraging AI to speed up test planning, requirement writing, and documentation
– Using AI to produce structured experiment summaries and client‑ready reports
– Employing AI to brainstorm test concepts and variation ideas

You must have:
– 3–4+ years of experience in CRO, experimentation, or data‑focused digital optimization
– Practical experience with at least one major A/B testing platform (VWO, convert.com, AB Tasty, Optimizely, Omniconvert)
– Strong proficiency with GA4 and Hotjar
– The ability to write detailed test requirements and acceptance criteria
– An understanding of UX/UI principles and how they influence conversion
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data
– Excellent communication and presentation abilities with clients
– The capacity to manage multiple roadmaps, experiments, and timelines at once

Nice to have:
– Certifications in CRO or experimentation tools
– Experience designing tests for eCommerce or CMS platforms
– Familiarity with statistical modeling or experimentation frameworks
