This is an individual contributor sales position working in a collaborative, team-based sales environment with key channel partners and strategic end user prospects in Western North America & Canada. The compensation package includes a competitive, professional base salary, variable incentive compensation, excellent benefits, and pre-IPO stock options.
The Regional Sales Manager will: •Learn Item Intelligence and RAIN RFID technology. •Develop and execute solution sales strategies that solve business challenges for end users. •Execute plan of quota exceeding success that includes both revenue generation and activity. •Manage customer relationships to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and account development with key accounts and target channel partners in our major verticals. •Maintain customer information including documenting all interactions in our sales database. •Collaborate with all of Impinj’s teams, including sales operations, marketing, channel, inside sales & finance.
Requirements •BS/BA or related degree with 5+ years sales experience in enterprise/middleware software, enterprise data collection/management, or closely related technology sales role. •Extensive consultative and solution selling experience with high technology products and services. •Proven success in new account and partner development. •Formal sales methodology training and/or the ability to articulate a systematic selling approach. •Demonstrated ability to produce results independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with corporate-based multifunctional teams. •Experience with, and knowledge of, retail, healthcare or manufacturing IT systems, business models and trends would be helpful. •Outstanding written and verbal communication. •Willing and able to travel frequently.
Desirable Qualifications •Knowledge or experience of RFID products and markets.
